Your Joy Over Everything

As the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests emerged, Taylor forged a partnership with the foundation. Named in honor of Boris Lawrence Henson (father of acclaimed actress and founder, Taraji P. Henson), the BLHF exists to both normalize and improve access to culturally competent mental health services for Black and Brown communities, helping eradicate the stigma around seeking mental health support. Rooted in deep, empathetic research our team developed strategic guidelines and a beautiful visual identity system expressing the journey to wholeness and spurring action among key decision makers to create a new tradition of mental healing and joy.
